DevOps Engineer

Full-service software development company that helps fast growing organizations launch new products and expand on existing technology is seeking Development Operations (DevOps) Engineers to support CI/CD tools integration and software maintenance.

You’ll work closely with Development and QA teams to help ensure end-to end quality.  Continually improve CI/CD tools, processes and procedures.  Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Chef...been there and done that.  You know what each is and where the strengths and weaknesses are.  Docker, Nomad, Kubernates, Mesos,’ve seen it all.  But the operating system is just one part of the ecosystem.  You should also be proficient in other areas (networking, storage, DBs, etc.).

To be successful in this role, you should have 5+ years of overall IT experience and experience with code repositories (Git) and continuous integration tools (i.e. TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven or Gradle).  You’ll work closely with the development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality. As a result of continuing growth, we seek a candidate that can adapt quickly and grow into roles of increased responsibility.

This position is fully remote, candidates can work from anywhere.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results.
  • Ensuring systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’.


  • 5+ Years of overall IT experience
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results.
  • Ambiguity doesn’t scare.  You see it as an opportunity to define the future.

  • Ability to configure HashiCorp stack - Nomad, Consul, Vault is a plus
  • You have a professional etiquette
