Irembo Digitizes Access and Provision of Government Services in Rwanda

In addition to enhancing transparency and efficiency of government services, e-government increases interaction frequency between citizens and public servants. Thus, improving the perception of quality and trust in the government more broadly.

Irembo is a technology solution company that runs e-government programs intended to create easy, efficient, and transparent procedures to facilitate service delivery in the public sector. This tech platform was created to shorten the gap between Rwandan citizens and the government by digitizing access to various online public services.

Since its establishment in 2014, Irembo has digitized 98 public services and served over 8 million users across Rwanda. Asides improving the interaction between the respective parties, Irembo takes pride in providing employment and training opportunities to Rwandan engineers on completion of their degree programs.
