The robotics revolution is accelerating technological advances in engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and energy storage. Refusing to be left behind, African inventors and innovators are also participating in this revolution, as they're creating robotics solutions to address Africa's needs.
One such innovator is Anis Sahbani, founder of Enova Robotics – a Tunisian company specializing in mobile robot design and manufacturing, as well as robotics R&D projects. Enova Robotics combines unique mobile robotics and artificial intelligence expertise to tackle challenges in the educational, healthcare, marketing, and security sectors.
The Tunisian startup is also the first designer and manufacturer of its own branded intelligent robots in Africa and the Arab world. Since its launch, Enova Robotics has built robots to help with daily activities, including Mini-Lab, HelloBot, eTouch-Bot, and its flagship product, PearlGuard.
With the recent capital they raised, Enova Robotics intends to improve its innovation system, fund research and design, and open a European branch in France.
