KEA Medicals – A Digital Solution Improving the Quality of Patient Care in Africa

KEA Medicals, an app created by the Beninese doctor Vena Arielle Ahouansou, interconnects healthcare institutions in Africa with a Universal Medical ID (UMI) directory platform. The platform provides a hospital information system that digitizes the entire hospital operation.

UMI links the user’s medical profile and history to a unique QR code printed on bracelets or cards that can be easily scanned during emergencies to access their medical profile quickly.
